EMERGENCY WATER MAIN REPAIR!

The areas around Douglas St. will have no water for a few hours. Water Department is currently working on this trying to restore service as soon as possible to the area.

Public Works Pavement Construction Update 5/29/26
Uxbridge DPW will be performing the following work:

Hartford Ave East Paving will occur Thursday night June 4th. The roadway will be closed during paving.

**Detours will be put in place accordingly.

Crack and Fog Sealing:

Scheduled for completion 6/12 - 6/24

Sidewalk Repair:

In Progress: South Garden St, Garden St, Seagrave St, Taft St, Arch St, Cross St, Pulaski St, Whitin St

This work is to be done throughout the season.

This schedule is subject to be delayed by inclement weather.

We will be working with the contractor, Massachusetts Broken Stone, Indus and the Police Department to complete these projects with as minor an inconvenience as possible. Plan on extensive delays and occasional detours as this project moves around town. Use caution and plan accordingly.

Uxbridge DPW Recieves $210K Grant for Sidewalk Plow

In an effort to provide the highest level of service to residents, the DPW has applied for and received an equipment grant to purchase a Bombardier Sidewalk Plow w/ Snowblower. This will allow the DPW to clear sidewalks as efficiently as possible while supplementing the Capital Improvement Plan with grant funds. A win-win!

Uxbridge DPW will be performing the following work:

Roadway milling and/or paving of the following streets:

Homeward Ave (N Main St - Glendale Ave), Douglas Pike (Douglas TL - Aldrich St), Eber Taft Road (first 1,500ft), Chocolog Rd (Douglas TL - Laurel St), Hartford Ave East (Oak St - Deanna Dr), Larkin Ave.

Milling: 5/26 - 5/28 (Night Work for Hartford Ave East)

Adjust Structures as needed: 5/29

Paving: 6/1 - 6/11

This schedule is subject to be delayed by inclement weather. These areas will be milled down 1 1/2 inches and worked on for the next week or two before being repaved. Use caution and plan accordingly.
