🎃👻 Spooktober Spirit Week brought some extra birthday spirit to KidsPeace Franklin!

We celebrated Shelby’s Spooktacular 30th Birthday and are putting the spotlight on the birthday girl! 🎂🦇

🎬👻 It’s Franklin Friday! This week, we asked our KidsPeace Franklin team:

If you could spend a day in any Halloween or fall movie, which would you choose and why?

🍂 Alexis: “I’m a huge Disney and Harry Potter fan, so picking between the two is difficult! But if I had to choose, I’d spend a day in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Maybe not the later movies, though—got to keep my chances of survival high! 😂”

🎃 Candace: “I don’t watch a lot of Halloween or fall-themed movies, but if I had to pick, I’d choose Spookley the Square Pumpkin! It’s based on a children’s book, and I just found out they made it into a movie. I watched it, and it was very cute!”

🦇 Shelby: “There are too many good movies to choose from! I think I’d want to spend a day in Van Helsing. When I was little, I always wanted to become a vampire. There, I’d get to be a vampire and transform into a bat creature, which seems pretty cool!”

Yesterday we had some lovely ladies come into work. They are currently traveling and bringing awareness to foster care!

They interviewed our Family Resource Specialist to learn more about who we are and how we serve.

They even brought us gift cards to hand out to our foster parents as thanks for what they do.

I would like to take this time to thank and show my gratitude for these ladies right here!
