Project Highlights - COTALAND Entryway Fountain 🏎️✨⛲

COTALAND Theme Park at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, makes a memorable first impression with a signature entryway fountain designed to capture the energy and spirit of this one-of-a-kind destination.

The fountain features 16 Foam Jets arranged around a central sculptural element, The Perfect Hug. Each jet is equipped with a fast-acting proportional flow control valve, allowing independent adjustments for varied spray heights, chases, and rapid transitions choreographed to music. Designed for maximum spray heights of 8 feet, the foaming nozzles create aerated, conical water effects.

Each jet features a ring-style light fixture, providing 360-degree illumination and customizable color changing capabilities. 6 flush-mount, angle-adjustable underwater light fixtures illuminate the central sculpture and can operate in coordination with the ring light fixtures or independently. Supporting the display, the pump systems, filtration, water treatment, and disconnect switches are housed in a dedicated equipment area. The main control panel and show controller are located indoors to help protect the equipment from environmental exposure and high temperatures.

The combination of water, light, and music creates an energetic welcome for guests entering and leaving the park, reflecting the excitement and motion that define both Circuit of the Americas and COTALAND.

At Turtle Creek Park in Hiawatha, Iowa, the welcome fountain transforms the entrance into a vibrant community landmark. Five Geyser Jets reach heights of up to five feet, while our 2026 award-winning FXPRO Ring RBGWLED Fountain Lights bring the water display to life. A DBVA Series Vault filtration system helps maintain water quality behind the scenes.

Good people, good food, and an even better cause.❤️

The Fountain People and Water Odyssey teams recently came together to collect donations for the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter, filling boxes with treats, toys, blankets, and bathing supplies for animals in need.🐾

We also gathered for our quarterly team lunch, complete with some good ol' Texas BBQ from Granzin's Meat Market and City Market BBQ, plus some fixings on the side!

We're grateful to be part of a team that looks out for one another and gives back to the community around us. Here's to teamwork, full plates, and helping our four-legged friends!🐶🐱

And that's a wrap on the 2026 American Society of Landscape Architects Conference in Los Angeles!🎬🌴

The Fountain People team had a great time connecting with landscape architecture professionals, showcasing our state-of-the-art Fountain In A Can, and discussing interactive fountain equipment designed to bring community spaces to life.

A huge congratulations to our Project Manager, Tish Tatem, for hosting a learning lab on designing splash pads with inclusion and safety in mind!👏

We're honored to have been part of this year's conference and excited to keep the momentum going. Next stop: Philadelphia for the National Recreation and Park Association Conference NEXT WEEK with our partners at AquaWorx USA and Water Odyssey!

We're excited for the Grand Opening of COTALAND this Saturday, September 26!🎢✨

Here's a sneak peek at the park's entrance fountain, installed by Pfists Inc. Featuring 16 Foam Jets, vibrant LED lighting, and choreographed water shows set to three different songs, this signature fountain captures the energy, motion, and excitement of the park while creating a memorable welcome for guests of all ages.

A big thanks to our team for working hard behind the scenes to help bring this project to life and get everything ready for opening day!👏

The National Recreation and Park Association's Annual Conference starts NEXT WEEK, and we're excited to connect to create more inclusive, interactive, and engaging aquatic spaces for communities!💡⛲

Visit Fountain People, Water Odyssey, and AquaWorx USA to explore aquatic play and swimming pool equipment designed to bring people of all ages and abilities together through play. From interactive spray features and multi-level playsets to water slides and water management systems, we're here to help you create aquatic environments where everyone can participate, play, and make a splash.
