Who says monsters have to be scary?👀🦎

Hector Gila Monster is proof that a little monster can be a whole lot of fun. His two gentle, arching streams create tunnels of water for kids to crawl through, making him right at home in desert-themed or reptile-inspired splash pads.

Have a gila-good Halloween from the Water Odyssey team! 👻💦

Making headlines and making a splash for inclusive play! 📰💦

We're excited to see the Town of Sahuarita's splash pad at Anamax Park featured in the October issue of Aquatics International! Titled "Water Welcomes All," the article showcases how inclusive aquatic play is bringing new opportunities for recreation, connection, and fun to the community's oldest and largest recreational space.

In the article, Director of Marketing Sylvia Bucklew shares insights into the project and how the desert-themed splash pad creates a welcoming environment where residents of all ages and abilities can cool off, play, and connect. Designed with distinct play zones, the space encourages both independent exploration and interactive fun. The article also explores the importance of water conservation in the community, highlighting how recirculating filtration systems provide an efficient water management solution for aquatic play environments in drier climates.

This project was made possible through the collaboration of the Town of Sahuarita, Altitude Recreation, Water Odyssey, and AquaWorx USA. We're proud to have played a part in bringing this inclusive aquatic destination to life!

Turn the Flow into Fun 🔄💧

The Turn-A-Round puts kids in control of their water experience! By rotating the oversized top sphere, they can direct arching streams of water, create new spray patterns, and discover how water moves in different directions.

Cover the spray nozzles and watch what happens; the remaining streams travel farther as the water pressure changes. Every turn, twist, and adjustment creates a new result, turning water play into a hands-on lesson in curiosity, experimentation, and problem-solving.

Explore the Turn-A-Round and Water Odyssey's Cause and Effect Line.
