Our Halloween Party and Costume Contest was a spirited success! The evening was filled with laughter, dancing, creative costumes, and a wonderful reminder that you're never too old to have fun. As we age, social events and traditions become even more important. They help us stay connected, build friendships, create lasting memories, and bring purpose and joy to everyday life.

A special thank you to DJ Amanda for keeping the tunes rocking all night long, and to our incredible Activities Committee, whose members not only transformed the community with festive Halloween décor but also served as our Culinary Services team for the evening, helping make the celebration a success from start to finish. It's just one more way we empower residents to live with purpose and confidently emerge into the next chapter of life.

Our first annual Strut Their Stuff Halloween Pet Parade, organized and brought to life by our amazing Red Hat Society chapter at The Reserve at Greenbrier, was a howling success!

Through EMERGE, our philosophy of resident experience, we empower residents to connect with one another, discover new interests and experiences, and find purpose in this exciting chapter of life. Programs like this are a perfect example of what happens when residents take the lead and turn their ideas into meaningful experiences for everyone!

Our residents had a spooktacular time enjoying Trunk or Treat alongside our wonderful in-house rehab team from FOX Rehabilitation! From festive fun to sweet treats and plenty of smiles, it was a wonderful reminder that some of life’s greatest joys come from embracing the traditions we’ve loved for generations. A big thank-you to the FOX Rehabilitation team for helping make this experience so memorable for our residents.

There’s something truly special about staying young at heart! Participating in childhood traditions like trick-or-treating brings back cherished memories, sparks joy, encourages connection, and reminds us that the magic of childhood never really has to fade away. These moments allow us to honor the past while making beautiful new memories in the present.

Growing older is a privilege, but growing up? Well, that’s always optional!
