I met with moms in Tacoma today to hear about what barriers folks are facing and what supports families are able to rely on.

The Multicultural Family Hope Center is doing incredible work in Pierce County — from early learning support, diaper banks, Sunday groceries, and connecting folks with partnering agencies — they are going above and beyond to make sure families and children have what they need to thrive in our communities.

We’re going to keep fighting to make sure programs like MCFHC can continue to exist for our neighbors in the 6th.

Ukrainians who fled war deserve to live without fear of losing their protections or being denied due process.

I joined more than 50 of my colleagues in urging DHS to protect Ukrainians with Temporary Protected Status. The Trump Administration must redesignate Ukraine for TPS so Ukrainians can continue to find safety and rebuild their lives here in the United States. Read more ⬇️
