Great to be with Rep. Paul Scott in Hendersonville NC last night supporting Chelsea Walsh for NC House 117. If you live in Henderson County and I am not on your ballot, I would encourage you to vote for Chelsea, she will be a great addition to the house and help us maintain a NC House Republicans majority in November!

If you are free on Tuesday evening, we would love to have you join us in Forest City for our last district event of the cycle. I want to thank Congressman Tim Moore, Rep. Paul Scott and all of our Local Officials for your support as well as all you do for our community.

As a reminder, early voting has started. Make your plan to vote early before Oct.31st or election day Nov. 3rd!

The first day of early voting is officially in the books! If you had not made a plan to get out and vote, now is the time. Early voting ends October 31st and Election Day is November 3rd. We would be grateful to have your support in House District 113!

Voters’ chance to make their voices heard officially kicks off TODAY.

With early voting now in full swing, registered voters across the 113th District can use https://vt.ncsbe.gov/EVSite/ to find their polling location and assure their vote is counted as soon as possible.

Let’s get a head-start, NC, and keep our state moving forward – not back.

Thank you to Woodrow Terry Fountain Jr & his wife Buffy for hosting a fantastic event in Rutherford County in support of our colleague and friend Rep. Paul Scott! He has been a great partner in the legislature and a strong voice for Cleveland and Rutherford counties. I look forward to continuing to work with him in Raleigh!

Congratulations to the Rutherford County North Carolina GOP on an extremely successful Lincoln Reagan Dinner that continues to be the largest in the state. With early voting starting next week it is extremely important to keep our foot on the gas and make sure we are working hard to get republicans elected up and down the ballot!

Thank you to the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association for your endorsement of our reelection campaign! It has been an honor to work with your members across the state on common sense criminal justice reform that protects law enforcement and makes our communities safer. I look forward to the continued partnership!

With a strong 111 - 1 bipartisan vote, the House has passed the Relief at the Pump Act. This will temporarily suspend the NC fuel tax and help keep money in the pockets of North Carolinians across the state. This will also help farmers that we depend on for food and lower transportation costs that impact the price of groceries.

Election Day is only four weeks away, and we need an all-hands-on-deck effort to get our ticket across the finish line in November.

Get involved today by ensuring your voter registration is up-to-date, helping friends and loved ones make a plan to cast their ballot, or volunteering with a campaign in your community.

Together, we can get this done, NC — but it’s going to take all of us. Are you in?

Thank you Sunny View Elementary School, Mrs. McGinnis and her class for allowing me to come talk about the role of state government and how the legislative process works. So many great questions from a very engaged group and I look forward to the next visit. Thank you!

Fourth graders at Sunny View Elementary School got a firsthand introduction to the legislative process Friday, Oct. 2, during a visit from Rep. Jake Johnson.
