Family and Friends of Destroyer Troop 19C OSUT Class 25-004

The Turning Green Ceremony will be on 19 September 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at Brave Rifles Field, Fort Benning, Georgia. (See link at the bottom of the post for the Google Maps Pin)

Please be advised that there is another ceremony prior to ours at Brave Rifles Field. To ensure the flow of traffic do not show up too early to allow other family’s to leave.

Family Day Pass Information:

Family and Friends will be able to sign their Soldier out on 18 September 2025 at 1800 at the Destroyer Troop Headquarters Building to allow for a quick transition following The Turning Green Ceremony. If you come on the 18th to sign your Soldier out, they will not be able to leave with you that evening, but it will be easier to take your Soldier following the ceremony.

Family and Friends will be able to sign their Soldier out following The Turning Green Ceremony at Brave Rifles Field. Please be advised that wait times may be longer.

Today Destroyer troop conducted practice qualification on the M4 carbine. The privates were tested on transitioning while conducting magazine changes. Tomorrow we will conduct qualifications where the privates must score at least 23 out of 40 targets hit. SEEK! STRIKE! DESTROY!

Welcome friends and families of 19C Class 25-004.
On July 10th, all 204 Trainees began their OSUT experience. Over the next 18 weeks, they will complete both Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training for the Army's newest MOS, 19C. Though 18 weeks sounds like a long time, I can assure you it will go by quickly.
For planning purposes, this class will graduate Basic Training on September 19th, 2025. We refer to this first graduation as "Turning Green." All friends and families are welcome to attend. The final graduation will take place on November 13, 2025. Again, all friends and families are welcome and encouraged to attend.
In the meantime, please message this page if you have any questions about your Soldier. We do our best to monitor this page regularly but it may sometimes take up to 24hrs for us to respond.

Destroyer Troop kicks off the summer surge with a new class! We proudly welcome Class 25-004, the next group of soldiers training to become the Army’s newest 19C Bradley Crewmembers. Congratulations on completing the Thunder Run and welcome to the team.
