The Visionary Party holds all the best values of the left and right, while concentrating on freedom from plutocracy, oligarchy, corporatocracy, and rule by elites. James Carvin was a write-in candidate for President of the United States, 2016 with no party affiliation. During the Bush presidency the national debt rose from $5.7 trillion to $9.8 trillion, a war time increase of 72% when there was both a real estate bust and a stock market collapse. Despite the fact that these markets adjusted during the Obama administration after the war in Iraq ended, the national debt increased beyond the $19 trillion point, resulting in a 94% increase, defeating even George Bush's record 72% increase. The pandemic has now forced the debt to the $30 trillion mark, making Carvin's work all the more pressing. If the debt keeps doubling at this rate, the country will be bankrupt and able to offer no services whatsoever within ten years. If you don't think this is a problem then you need to listen. The time to end partisan politics is now. Instead of confronting the debt problem, lifelong government administrators and the politicians they control through fear tactics are maintaining a status quo to protect only their own careers and keep skeletons hidden in closets. The intelligence and justice communities have grown thoroughly corrupt and self-protective. Accountability has been lost. The Visionary Party is dedicated to restoring government to the people, through representation that is no longer hindered by a shadow government rule or pandering politicians and bringing back economic sanity. We also recognize that if we fail, we must offer a way to recover from what amounts to an economic apocalypse. That way is not socialism, which is just state oligarchy, and not communism, which deprives citizens of ownership, yet recognizes that since our warnings are not being heeded we are apparently entering an inevitable age of post-capitalism. The solution in that age, rather than ever-failing socialist and communist experiments, is incentivized asynalagonomy.
