Today we celebrated the retirement of Deb Weaver. She will be so missed by studends and staff alike. Here are some thoughts shared by a parent:

You are going to be sorely missed! You have left an impression on not just your students, but the families too. We have been blessed by "Mrs. Weaver” for the last 10+ years, and I feel so grateful that all 4 of my children were blessed to be in your class. You demonstrated a passion for teaching that shows so much of what is missing in this world - passion, commitment, dedication, patience, excitement! These are things that have been lacking from so much of education for a long time, even from life in general. I am so grateful my kids learned at your feet, bell to bell, what it means to be responsible, working hard, getting up when you fall, celebrating!, repentance (you have shown a measure of that to my boys especially needing to redo things). Words will never be able to tell you how much we have appreciated you! I think all 4 of my children have said you were the best teacher they ever had. I couldn’t agree more!

Wow, wow, wow! Rocky's 4x100 relay team took 1st at the Special Olympics State Track Meet and Levi Hayhurst took 1st in the 100 m. Congratulations!

Seniors! It is time to return all of your library items, including your laptop and charger. These items MUST be turned in by the last day of school at 3pm. However, you are encouraged to return your laptop as soon as you no longer need it. Just a reminder that you will not be able to pick up your diploma until all items are returned and fines are paid. Please stop by the library if you have any questions!

Shout-out to Mr. Connors on National School Principals Day! It's been a great year at Rocky and we are so lucky to have you leading us.
