From Clipper's Handler:
I am deeply honored and humbled to have received the Buffalo Fire Commissioner’s Unit Citation for Bravery.
This recognition is associated with an investigation into a tragic residential fire in the City of Buffalo on October 18, 2025, where an adult woman and a newborn baby lost their lives.
I am grateful for the recognition, but I also recognize that an honor such as this is never the work of one person. I am fortunate to work alongside dedicated investigators, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and other professionals who share the same commitment to finding the truth and seeking justice for victims and their families.
I am especially proud to have had K-9 Clipper by my side throughout this investigation. His work as an Accelerant Detection Canine was an important part of the investigation, and I am grateful every day for the partnership we have built.
Most importantly, this recognition reminds us why this work matters — to find the truth, help bring justice to victims and their families, and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
Thank you to the Buffalo Fire Department and the Buffalo Fire Commissioner for this meaningful recognition. I am truly grateful and honored to receive it.
Honored. Grateful. Proud to serve.
