Thank you to Hoga-Palooza BBQ for a delicious lunch, Karen Gorman of Forrest City for door prizes, Johnny Waldrup of AGFC, C**t Baptist Church, Forrest City High School students and the total of 60 participants who made the 6th Annual Pinetree WDA clean-up a success! Alongside archery for kids, approximately 1,500 lbs. of trash was picked up from this important site. We appreciate all of your hard work!

The AGFC thanks Ich Stewart and the rest of the team at The Public Timber Project for their help renovating the blind for mobility-impaired hunters at Raft Creek WMA. Several of their volunteers also brushed in the youth blind and cleaned up litter at the Magellan Tract of the WMA. They are excellent partners and true stewards of Arkansas's public hunting areas. Visit their page for some videos of the work getting done.

The Mobility Impaired blind out at Raft was in need of some love. The old ramp was broken and there wasn’t a handrail. There’s still a lot of improvements we’d like to make to that blind but at least hunters will have a safer means of entering the blind this winter. We also widened the opening to accommodate some side by sides. Many of the newer side by sides with roof rack accessories won’t fit, so be sure and plan accordingly. Special thanks to the AGFC for giving us the chance to help.
