Greetings and peace be unto you!🙏

According to world renowned speaker and author, Dr. Myles Munroe, these are the QUESTIONS OF THE HUMAN HEART AND LIFE!

WHO AM I? - IDENTITY
WHERE AM I FROM?-SOURCE
WHY AM I HERE? - PURPOSE
WHAT CAN I DO? POTENTIAL

And, I personally discovered that the only person who can answer these extremely important questions is the one who created every human being, God! In, fact, the Bible is very clear in Psalm 100:3, that God made us and not we ourselves….therefore, God is the only one that’s qualified to answer these difficult questions of the human heart because He is man’s true source.

Men, you and I were created for a purpose and creator God has a “MASTER PLAN” for our lives, period! So, I invite you to come out and join me and other hungry men at South Rocky Mount Community Center on Saturday August 8th at 4pm to uplift, encourage and empower each other as we explore the above challenging questions of the human heart!

💧 Parks & Recreation Facility Update

In response to the City's Mandatory Stage I Water Conservation Measures, the following changes are now in effect at Rocky Mount Parks & Recreation facilities:

🚫 Sunset Park Amusements and Spray Park are closed until further notice.
🚫 South Rocky Mount Spray Park is closed until further notice.
🚫 Irrigation systems at City parks and cemeteries have been shut off, with the exception of Jack Laughery Park.

🏊 Denton Street Pool is closed today for maintenance and will resume its normal summer operating schedule beginning tomorrow.

The Denton Street Pool will remain open during Mandatory Stage I Water Conservation Measures because continuous water recirculation and system operation are necessary to prevent long-term damage to the pool and its equipment.

Normal operating hours:
📅 Tuesday–Saturday
🕐 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to conserve water resources while maintaining safe recreational facilities for our community.

Please continue to follow City updates regarding water conservation measures.

For holistic growth and healthy success, a man needs 3 distinct relationships: a mentor (to guide), a friend/peer (to walk alongside), and a protege/mentee (to invest in). Mentorship provides wisdom, friendship ensures support and teaching along with training a protege cements one’s own learning and legacy!

Please join me on Saturday May 9th at 4pm as we take a deeper dive into the importance of having a mentor, friend and protege so you can begin your journey of a holistic life!
