Maryland's Commitment to Veterans We're here 24/7 to answer questions, address concerns, or help with connect with resources.

We assist Maryland military service members, veterans and their families with coordinating behavioral health services (both mental health and substance use services) through the VA healthcare system, state and local healthcare systems, and/or community providers. We also provide information and referrals related to: emergency funding, employment, food, housing, VA benefits, and volunteer opportunities. In addition, we provide educational opportunities for behavioral health providers, medical personnel, first responders, and community organizations through our workshops, conferences and virtual training portals.

Operation Homefront
Gathering with Gratitude
A virtual support group for Military families

Join us for a supportive conversation about gratefulness, resilience, and finding hope during difficult seasons of Life.

//Gratitude doesn't erase life's challenges-it helps us find strength in the
midst of them.//

Led by a Military Family Peer Support, this group provides a safe, judgment-free space to connect, share, and build community. Using principles from Military training and Master Resilience Training (MRT), we'll explore practical strategies for building resilience, recognizing strengths, reframing challenges, and maintaining perspective through the changes of military life.
Come share, connect, support, or simply listen. You're not alone.

When schools and businesses invite veterans to speak this Veterans Day, women veterans should be part of the conversation.

Our stories show the many ways women have served, led, and continued to make an impact. Representation matters, especially for the next generation learning what a veteran looks like.

If you’re a woman veteran with a story or expertise to share, explore joining the Veteran Speaker Directory. Know someone whose voice belongs on that stage? Share this with her.
