The CommUNITY Service Team is deeply grateful to Love Lodi for the Non-Profit Award bestowed upon us. Our mission is to “Put God’s Love into Action,” and we recognize that all glory belongs to God. We dedicate this award to Him, for He is the source of our love, the purpose behind our service, and the example we strive to follow in all we do.

A special thank you to the Board of Directors: Bill Moersch, Dan Lane, Norm Worthen, Chuck Deeter, Jean Moersch, Tony Devlin, Daring Mahlow. Your collective dedication, servant leadership, and unwavering commitment to our mission make it possible for us to do what we love most: bring people together to serve, educate and support communities. What a blessing it is to serve together in unity and purpose all motivated by God’s love. We sincerely love Lodi, that’s for sure! ❤️

Some 20 guys from 21 years old to 75 years old all gathered for a free, hot grilled breakfast, meaningful and useful biblical application education and a lot of fun. We have room for about 5 more men in this group. If you are reading this, you are invited to join us at The Salvation Army - Lodi. Drop by, dig-in and see how it goes. We’re open for breakfast at 7am, see ya then. 🥞🍳☕️

Life was never meant to be done alone. God wants us all to be part of a community where we can learn, encourage each another, and grow in our faith. The Bible reminds us, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17). "And let us not neglect our meeting together... but encourage one another" (Hebrews 10:25, NLT).

If you’re not in one already involved in a life group then take a next-step like showing up at the CommUNITY Service Team Friday Morning Men's Life Group. There you'll be welcomed, learn valuable life skills and be encouraged to apply what you’ve learned. You will not regret it.

Sure hope to see you this next Friday morning at Salvation Army of Lodi, 525 Lockeford Street, 7 AM for a very generous, free breakfast and then 7:30 AM for the life group itself.

For 36 months, volunteers have continued to show what it looks like when people come together and put God’s love into action. Week after week, ordinary people have given their time, energy, skills, resources, and hearts to serve others in our community. They have shown up early, stayed late, stepped in wherever needed, and helped make a difference in the lives of real people with real needs. That is what the CommUNITY Service Team is all about. “We bring people together to serve, educate, and support our communities because we believe people are worth it and because God calls us to love our neighbors through action.” said Bill Moersch the President. To every volunteer who has cooked, carried, delivered, cleaned, served, or simply said, “How can I help?” THANK YOU! You are the reason this mission continues. ❤️

This is how it works at the CommUNITY Service Team (CSTeam). Nobody gets paid and aside from our very small fixed costs, every dollar donated goes directly into the community to where the real needs are and where the greatest impact can be made. When we put God’s love into action, He provides the love, and He provides the resources.

For example, today the CSTeam received a generous donation from J&R Entertainment as a thank-you for the outreach support we provide them. Then later today, we were blessed with the opportunity to turn around and make a generous donation to Tammy Watson with Clothed in Dignity, helping meet clothing needs right here in our community.

See how God works? He knew what was needed before we even knew to ask. God is our provider. We simply have the privilege and responsibility of being faithful with what He puts in our hands.

Join me in thanking God for His faithfulness and for keeping His promises as we continue putting His love into action. ❤️

35 consecutive months and we're still getting better! This month was the CommUNITY Service Team’s 35th consecutive 4th Saturday Grocery Giveaway Breakfast. As always, nothing was held back. We gave the very best we had to offer! Why? Because serving others isn't just something we do once a month, it's part of how we live out our mission of putting God's love into action. Every month, we look for ways to make the experience better for the people we serve and the volunteers who make it all possible.

Hope Mission of Coastal Carolina does so much for their community it’s mind-boggling. Fact is, they are growing and need others to make it happen. Reach out to them or show up at Friday Morning Breakfast. Either way you’ll never regret being a part of something that really matters.
