Today we had the honor of welcoming the Senior Class back to Webster for Senior Breakfast and their final walk through the halls in their caps and gowns. 🎓💙

It was a special morning filled with smiles, memories, and excitement for what’s ahead. Our students and staff loved cheering them on as they took one last walk through the place where so many of their journeys began.

We are so proud of all they have accomplished and can’t wait to see the amazing things they will do next. Congratulations, Seniors! Once a Webster student, always part of the Webster family. 💛

Yesterday was a home run for fun! ⚾️

Webster Best Buddies teamed up with our 5th graders for an amazing morning of baseball at the Miracle League of Iowa. Smiles, teamwork, and unforgettable memories were made both on and off the field!

The fun didn’t stop there — 5th graders then headed to Principal Park to enjoy even more baseball excitement at the I-Cubs game! 🧢🎉

Students in Mrs. Rolfes’ class became shadow scientists this week! ☀️🌎 As they explored what causes day/night and the seasons, they headed outside to trace their shadows at different times of the day and observe how they changed as the sun appeared to move across the sky.

But the big discovery? The sun isn’t actually moving around us — it’s the Earth rotating on its axis! 🌍✨ Hands-on learning made this science lesson really shine!

🏃‍♀️🦈 There’s never a dull moment in PE class! Students have been staying active and having a blast playing “Sharks and Islands” — a fast-paced game filled with throwing, chasing, dodging, tagging, and rescuing all in one! The smiles, giggles, and red cheeks say it all as students work hard, encourage one another, and have fun while moving their bodies. 💙😀

As this Mrs. Schutt's final social media post before she retires, she wanted to share the following note: I would also like to thank all of the Webster families for an incredible 36 years. I love the Webster community, the parents, students, and staff! It has been such a pleasure working with our amazing students and watching them grow into incredible young people! Teaching your students has been a gift, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity. 💛🍎✨

🎨✨ Ms. Cozzoni's kindergartners have been exploring the wonderful world of art during Literacy Knowledge! Recently, they learned about Ruth Asawa and her famous wire sculptures that inspire creativity and imagination.

After studying her artwork, students became artists themselves by designing and creating their very own sculptures! We loved seeing their creativity come to life through hands-on learning and artistic expression. 🖌️🧵🗿

🎶 Our 4th graders wrapped up their recorder unit on a high note by composing and performing their very own recorder music! 🎵✨ We loved seeing their creativity and musical talents shine.

Now, they’re strumming into their next musical adventure as they begin learning to play the ukulele! 🎸🌺 We can’t wait to hear all the amazing music still to come!

Fifth graders at Webster met the Middle School SRO, Officer Ten Haken today. He helped prepare them for middle school by talking about culture and integrity. It was great getting to know him in preparation for next year.
