Picture Retake Day - November 11!

Did your child miss Picture Day? No worries! Picture Retake Day is Tuesday, November 11, from 9–11 a.m. Please notify your child's teacher if you would like your child to have their picture taken on Picture Retake Day.

You can order photos online through Lifetouch. If you have any questions or need help with your order, please call LifeTouch at: 1-800-736-4753.

As the weather changes and our days become wetter and muddier, we encourage families to keep an extra set of clothes in their child’s backpack. Accidents, spills, or unexpected slips outside can happen at any time, and having a clean, dry outfit available helps keep students comfortable and ready to learn.

Please include items such as pants, a shirt, socks, and underwear, and remember to update sizes as your child grows or as the seasons change. A little preparation goes a long way in making the school day run smoothly!

50% of eligible sales at Z’Mariks Noodle Cafe (12655 University Ave, Clive) between 4-9 pm will be donated back to support the Valerius PTO. Grab dinner for the family and support Valerius. That’s right—50 PERCENT!

For your order to count, you do need to show the flyer, digital image, or mention you are there to support Valerius. If you’re placing an online order, put “VALERIUS” in the special instructions. Invite your friends and family to help us bring in some extra funds!

Parent-Teacher Conferences
As we approach the end of the first trimester, it's time to start thinking about Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences are a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s progress so far this school year and to collaborate on their continued growth.

Conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 18 (4:00-8:00p.m.) and Thursday, November 20 (2:00-7:30p.m.) Each conference is scheduled for 15 minutes. This year, we are offering both in-person and virtual options to accommodate your preference. Your student’s teachers will be sending you a message with times you can sign up to meet with them in person or virtually on November 4. If you’re a family needing translation from an interpreter, you do NOT need to sign up, as your conference has already been scheduled.

Fall Progress Reports will be sent via email on Monday, November 17.
