Rallying Together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

This October, the City of Utica is proud to partner with the American Cancer Society and Clinton Tractor to raise funds in the fight against breast cancer!

We're raffling off a Ferris Zero-Turn Lawn Mower, and every ticket purchased helps support the American Cancer Society's mission to fund lifesaving research, provide patient support, and bring hope to those affected by breast cancer.

On Friday, October 2, 2026, I had the pleasure of being part of the German Flag Raising Ceremony at Utica City Hall.

It was a wonderful opportunity to recognize and celebrate the rich German heritage and the many contributions of the German community to our city.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special ceremony possible and to all those who continue to share and preserve their culture and traditions here in Utica.

This afternoon, I was happy to join Knead to Eat and their team, and the Utica community today to celebrate their 10th anniversary and the expansion of their dining space at 53 Franklin Square.

For a decade, Knead to Eat has been serving up fresh, scratch-made food, great coffee and a welcoming place for people to gather. We’re excited to see this locally owned business continue to grow right here in Utica.

Congratulations to the entire Knead to Eat team on this exciting next chapter!

Tonight begins the Feast of Sts. Cosmas and Damian at St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church at 5pm.

The Red Band will play at 8pm following masses.

This feast is always a beautiful time.

I found few photos from the years for a preview of the festivities, and hope to capture more this weekend starting tonight.
