County Executive Anthony Picente

Executive Anthony Picente is Oneida County’s 13th County Executive and has served since 2006. His hard work has led to great success and was awarded with the New York State Association of Counties Public Service Award in 2024. County Executive Picente’s investment into the renovations at Murnane have transformed Donovan Stadium into the premier facility in the PGCBL. Come out to see County Executive Picente throw out the honorary first pitch at tomorrow’s game!

Mayor Michael Galime

Utica Mayor Michael Galime will be coming to play the National Anthem on his saxophone. Mayor Galime came into his role as mayor with eight years of experience as a Council President. Not only does Mayor Galime have a passion for serving our community, but his passion for music led to his concentration in music from the University of Rochester. Come out to see Mayor Galime play the national anthem at tomorrow’s game!

Memorial Day was well spent today in The City of Utica, NY.

Thank you to all the people who came out in support of Memorial Day at our parade and the many events today.

While this day is one of solace, it was enlightening to see so many families participating in a day which is set aside to remember those who lost their lives serving in our military defending our Country.

Many thanks to Post 229 for traversing our monuments, laying wreaths, and performing ceremonies across the City.
