We are also looking for any references that may help identify the types of interlocking machines that was installed in the Tower throughout the years. In the 1920's the Tower received an upgraded machine built by Federal Railway Signal, a GRS Company. What was in place prior to this?

This sumac tree is trying to lay claim to the east wall of the Tower. While it makes for an interesting photo subject today, it could lead to damages in the future.
