On Thursday, June 11 at 10:00 a.m., join us for "Digital Genealogy Tools: A Senior Planet Lecture!"

This is an introductory overview for those who have never used digital tools and are new or relatively new to genealogy. Genealogy websites have grown in popularity as more records become digitized and made publicly available. Come learn about free or low cost online platforms that you can use to research your family history and create your own family tree.

This program, presented by Sabrina from 50Forward Mohawk Valley, is a part of the Senior Planet by AARP series.

On Tuesday, June 9 at 5:30 p.m., join the Utica Public Library and Munson for "Seeing and Shaping Nature: The Fantasy of North American Landscapes." This collaboration explores the history of landscape painting throughout North America, including art and artists of Central New York. This program will discuss the social, environmental, and global influences upon artists of the 1800s and the natural world. Attendees will get the opportunity to create their own fantastic landscapes in a Munson collection inspired art activity.
