Parktober Festival, hosted by Valley City Parks and Recreation, is happening this Saturday, October 10th! Featuring a mini pumpkin patch, corn pit, tractor cart rides, soup and sandwiches, Brockopp Brewing, inflatables and games, a fun run, and more, this event is fun for the whole family! Admission is FREE! 🎃🍂

When a Facebook acquaintance (who originally started following our Texas travels while she was living in San Antonio) reached out from her hometown in North Dakota with a story idea about her former college professor, we knew we had to go.

What made it even more special? North Dakota was State #50 on our quest to visit ALL 50 states of our country this year.
