🚔 IMPORTANT CONTACT INFORMATION – VALLEY FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT 🚔

The Valley Falls Police Department would like to remind our citizens of the proper phone numbers to use when requesting law enforcement assistance.

📞 Valley Falls Police Department On-Duty / VIN Inspection Line
785-945-3434

This number is intended for non-emergency matters and VIN inspections. It is only answered when a Valley Falls Police Officer is on duty and available. If the officer is assisting with another call or is otherwise unavailable, your call may not be answered immediately.

📞 Jefferson County Dispatch – Non-Emergency
785-863-2247

🚨 Emergency – Dial 911

If you need to speak with a law enforcement officer or need an officer dispatched to your location, we encourage you to call Jefferson County Dispatch at 785-863-2247.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has jurisdiction throughout Jefferson County, including within the City of Valley Falls. When you contact Jefferson County Dispatch, they can send the appropriate available law enforcement officer—either a Valley Falls Police Officer or a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy.

At this time, the Valley Falls Police Department is short-staffed. Because of this, there may be times when a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy is able to respond more quickly than a Valley Falls Police Officer.

The Valley Falls Police Department and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office work together and communicate with one another to provide law enforcement services to our community. Our priority is making sure citizens receive assistance as quickly as possible, regardless of which agency responds.

Please save these numbers:

🚔 Valley Falls PD On-Duty / VIN Inspection: 785-945-3434
📞 Jefferson County Dispatch Non-Emergency: 785-863-2247
🚨 Emergency: 911

We appreciate the continued cooperation and understanding of our citizens as we work to provide law enforcement coverage for the City of Valley Falls.
