The 2026–2027 4-H year is here, and we’re excited to welcome our 4-H members, families, and volunteers back for another great year!

🗓Re-enrollment is open September 1–January 1.

🐄Check out this opportunity for 4-H members in grades 8-12!

🐐Applications are open in ZSuite for 4-H’ers ages 14-18 (as of Jan. 1st, 2027) to apply to the 2027 CALL Program. Applications will close October 30th at midnight!

🐑CALL Tour through Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee (July 5-9)

🐖22 youth will be selected!

📝Youth submitting applications are required to take an Animal Science Knowledge Pre-test proctored by a UADA employee at their county office. Upon submitting their CALL Application, the county agent will be sent the pre-test to proctor. It is the youth’s responsibility to schedule with their county office to take the exam. Exams are on paper and will be scanned and sent to Allison Harman ([email protected]) by midnight on November 5th.

We have a very interesting afternoon day camp coming up soon! 🐻🐟

The Wildlife Day Camp will be hosted at the Crawford County Extension Office at 1:00 pm on October 13th. We will have materials to practice for the Wildlife O'Rama competition, learn about food webs and ecosystems through several activities and games, and host a special guest who will visit us virtually from Katmai National Park and Preserve in Alaska.

October STEM Kit is here!

Is your 4-H member already dreaming of starting a spring garden? Make your own compost to add to your garden this spring! Kits will come with educational materials and all of the materials needed to get the compost started. Participants will need to source their own soil (not potting or bagged soil) and food scraps!

If anyone has 1-liter bottles they would like to donate for this project, please drop them off at the office!
