☆☆☆URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT☆☆☆

VAN BUREN, MAINE - Due to an unexpected substation emergency, Van Buren Light & Power must repair a key transformer to protect customers from future outages.

ALL CUSTOMERS WILL BE WITHOUT POWER FOR 4 HOURS THURSDAY NIGHT FOR INSTALLATION BETWEEN 10 PM & 2 AM .

Prepare for a 4-hour outage overnight.

This repair is critical to protect the town's future power supply in the event of an emergency.
Power will automatically be restored by 2 AM Friday.

If you are without power after 2 AM, CALL 207.868.2212

Our station doors were open today! 🚑

We had some visitors from Northern Aroostook Alternatives stop by to check out the ambulance and see what goes on inside. They were excited to look around, ask questions, and learn more about what we do.

A huge thank you to our Service Medical Director, Dr. Samuela Manages, for thinking of our crews during EMS Week. Dr. Sam dropped off flowers along with a gift card for some delicious kolaches from one of our favorite spots in town.
