Hey y’all, we have a beautiful queen sized quilt with old pictures of
Van Buren on the quilt. The quilt was made by Mary Stewart and quilted by Carol Boyer and was donated to the library to raffle off with the proceeds going to the library. Raffle tickets are $5 for 1 ticket and 5 tickets for $20. You won’t want to miss out on this quilt. Come in and the Van Buren Library and check it out! It’s beautiful!! The raffle will probably last about 2 months

Summer reading is winding down. It’s been a great summer and we want to thank Miss Hannah for all the creative programs she came of for the kids in Children’s Library! She did awesome and the kids all loved her! Tuesday is our last day with the trip to the Zoo Down Under here in Van Buren for all those that completed the summer reading program and turned in their reading logs. Come by the library and get a ticket to the zoo. We will meet out there Tuesday. They will have fun stuff for the kids to do. The kids will get in free for those that completed the program and parents will be $9.95. Thank you to all of you that came to the summer reading program. We hope that you had a wonderful time this summer and we can’t wait until our summer reading program next summer.
Please remember, we will have programs through the year for the children so keep an eye out on what days and time Miss Hanna will have those. Thank you to all the families that brought your children and participated with them in the programs. We appreciate all of you!
