🚨 FALL OUTDOOR BURNING SAFETY REMINDER 🍂🔥

As we enter the fall season, drier conditions, falling leaves, and dormant grasses can increase the risk of outdoor fires spreading quickly.

Please remember that Lancaster
County Ordinance 921
(Open Burning Regulations)

prohibits the burning of:
Household trash
Tires
Construction debris

Burning these materials can cause fires to spread to surrounding leaves, grass, and wooded areas, creating larger and potentially dangerous fires.

🔥 Please burn responsibly, follow all applicable regulations, and help keep our community safe this fall.

When conditions are dry, a small fire can become a large fire in a matter of minutes.

Thank you all for being safe.
