Don't do it again, Clark County.

Clark County cannot afford a return to the politics of the past.

In endorsing my campaign, The Columbian raised serious concerns about my opponent’s history at the county, noting his ties to former Commissioners David Madore and Tom Mielke and describing that era as one when “rule breaking government was viewed as a feature, not a bug.”

That period of county government was marked by extremism, deep divisions, lawsuits and allegations of cronyism. The Columbian specifically called my opponent’s connections “an apparent act of cronyism.”

We cannot go backward.

The Columbian described me as a “thoughtful, thorough” candidate who would be “a conduit rather than a roadblock.”

I’ve worked to bring people together and deliver results. My opponent represents the politics that divided our county.

Clark County deserves leadership that moves us forward, not a return to extremism, bitter partisanship and the dysfunction of the past.

They broke the law AGAIN.

Vote for DEMOCRATS.

A federal judge has ordered President Trump to cancel any remaining television commercials paid for with millions of dollars in taxpayer money to promote his political message.

U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Rochon in New York sided with a coalition, including the nonpartisan watchdog Common Cause, that challenged the ads and called them an illegal misuse of funds.

The White House did not immediately respond to an email requesting comment Sunday night.
