What are you naming your drain?

This fall, join Adopt-A-Drain Washington in reducing runoff pollution from entering our waterways.

By adopting a drain with Adopt-a-Drain Washington, you are committing to volunteer fifteen minutes, twice a month to keep your storm drain clear of leaves, trash, and other debris to reduce water pollution and help prevent localized flooding. Plus, you can name the storm drain that you're adopting!

Learn more about Adopt-a- Drain at the link in our bio!

Celebrate the oldest living apple tree in the Northwest with activities for children, food for sale, apple tastings and sales, live music, c***r pressing, and walking tours of the Fort Vancouver Historic Orchard. Some soaps are labeled as "biodegradable", which can be misleading when it comes to washing vehicles or dumping wash water in the street. When in doubt, remember the simple phrase to protect our streams and lakes: "ONLY RAIN IN DRAIN".
Stream-healthy ways to wash your vehicle include:
1. Going to a car wash.
2. Washing over the the grass.
3. Using waterless products.
