Last week, our team responded to a hydrochloric acid leak at a Masterguard.

Hydrocloric acid is very dangerous to be around. It causes severe chemical burns on contact and dangerous respiratory irritation. It can even cause permanent blindness if it comes into contact with your eyes. We want to give huge props to Masterguard for acting fast and getting all employees evacuated and away from the leak.

We’re incredibly grateful for the quick response and assistance from the surrounding fire departments, hazmat teams, and all of the emergency personnel who worked together to safely manage the incident.

Incidents like this are a great reminder of the importance of training, preparation, and strong partnerships between emergency agencies and the communities we serve.

A huge thank-you to everyone who answered the call, worked together, and helped keep the employees and first responders safe. We appreciate your dedication and professionalism! 🚒🧯👏

Training today. Ready tomorrow.

Our team and the local fire depts spent the evening sharpening our Landing Zone (LZ) skills with our air medical partners. From selecting a safe landing site to coordinating patient transfers, every detail matters when a helicopter is responding to an emergency.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to learn from one another and strengthen the partnerships that help bring the highest level of emergency care to our community.

We've been getting a lot of calls asking about bills they are receiving from Kentucky. We went third-party billing at the beginning of the year. Their office is in Madisonville, Kentucky. The billing company is called 911 Billing. So, if you are receiving bills from them it is correct. Just wanted to clear up some confusion. The bill will say Fountain County Ambulance with a PO box in Madisonville, Kentucky.
