🐾Join us in wishing a very happy birthday to K-9 Palmer today, Oct. 19! 🎂

With his nose for finding evidence and his knack for winning hearts, Palmer gives us plenty to celebrate. We’re grateful for all he does alongside his handler, Officer Erin Skaggs, to serve our community. 🎉 👮

Here’s to fetching extra belly rubs, plenty of treats, and a few birthday wishes for a very good boy! 💙🦴

No official projects were passed, but plenty of leadership skills were on display. 👏 The future looks bright! 😎

🚲 This week, our VPD bike team members leveled up, successfully completing a rigorous e-bike training course! From controlled stops and quick turns to slow-speed balance and obstacle navigation, officers sharpened the skills they need to patrol safely and effectively on two wheels. 🚲

Whether we’re patrolling downtown or on the trail, these e-bikes help us stay better connected to you. Say hi as we roll by! 👋

Huge thanks to Chris DePolis from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office for the great instruction!
