Since relaunching in 2020, the Stonewall Democrats of Ventura County have helped achieve historic gains for the LGBTQIA+ community across Ventura County. With the support of our members and allies, we’ve helped elect more than a dozen LGBTQIA+ Democrats to special district boards, school boards, and city councils.
But there’s more work ahead. The 2026 election presents new opportunities to build on this progress—and we’ll need all of us working together to make it happen.

That’s why we’re launching our Together We Will Fundraiser from April 1 through May 1. Contributions made during this time will help us support our endorsed candidates in the primary and provide critical early funding for the general election.

You can make a one-time donation or choose to give monthly to sustain our efforts through Election Day.

All contributors will be recognized in our Together We Will Fundraiser posts.

Today, March 31, marks International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV). It’s a day dedicated to celebrating the lives and contributions of transgender and gender expansive people, while also raising awareness of the work still needed to achieve true equity.

Stonewall is proud to have endorsed Ashley Orozco for Supervisor. This is one of the most important races in the county.
