LAND TO SEA: Science-Driven, Nature-Based Solutions for Healthier Waterways 🌊

What if the way we landscape our shorelines could help protect the Indian River Lagoon?

Join us November 5 from 12–1 PM for a FREE presentation as part of our Currents & Connections: Speaker Series with Natalie Stephens, Research Associate with the Ocean Research & Conservation Association (ORCA).

Discover how ORCA’s Land to Sea Initiative uses living and buffered shorelines to:
-Improve water quality
-Reduce erosion
-Enhance wildlife habitat
-Increase coastal resilience

Learn how ORCA and trained citizen scientists monitor restoration projects over time, measuring their ecological benefits and gathering the scientific data needed to guide future conservation efforts.
