The next Vestavia Hills City Council meeting will be Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 6pm in the Council Chamber at City Hall (1032 Montgomery Highway; Vestavia Hills, AL 35216). The agenda packet is available at https://vhal.org/government/agendas.

For those attending in person, the Council Chamber will be arranged to adhere to required seating distances of 6 feet or more. If you chose not to attend in person, you may still participate remotely:

All City of Vestavia Hills municipal offices will be CLOSED Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. Note: Trash routes will run as normal.

Mayor Ashley Curry, along with the Council, is encouraged by today's action of Governor Ivey to lift restrictions and allow most of our small businesses and quality-of-life amenities to re-open as of Monday, May 11, 2020. The full Order is available at https://vhal.org/alert-center.

Mayor Ashley Curry, with concurrence from the entire Council, has submitted the attached letter to Governor Ivey. He is hopeful that our letter, along with those from other cities, will prompt immediate action on the restrictions that have precluded our small businesses from re-opening.
