Happy Boss’s Day to Mrs. Absher! 💙🦅

We are so lucky to have a principal who is not only our boss, but a leader on our campus. She is a true advocate for staff and students, a strong instructional leader, has the answer to any question you could possibly think of, and always strives to do what is best for our Eagle family.

We are so grateful to have her leading our nest!

🎶🎶Specials Spotlight! 🎶🎶

🎃🎶 SPOOKTACULAR SOUNDS IN THE MUSIC ROOM! 👻🕷️

Our students are making music and having a BOO-tiful time in music class! 🧡🖤 Our amazing music teacher creates a variety of differentiated lessons that meet students where they are while keeping learning engaging, interactive, and fun — with a little Halloween magic mixed in! 🎃

🎵 Students sang along to Pumpkin Stew while exploring musical concepts like high and low sounds, moving their fingers up and down to match the pitch.

👏 Students also followed the beat of a Halloween song by clapping their hands and tapping their left and right feet, strengthening their rhythm, coordination, and listening skills!

From singing and movement to rhythm and pitch, our students are learning through music, movement, and plenty of Halloween fun! 🦇🎶

We love seeing creativity come to life in our music room at Smith STEM Academy!

🔥 But the competition is still ON! Janak is creeping up with 5 bags, Stringo has 4, and several classes are fighting to stay in the game! 👀🍬
