VCBA serves the legal community and public of Victoria and surrounding counties by promoting high standards of integrity, honor and courtesy within the legal profession Our association exists to serve the legal community and public of Victoria County Texas by promoting high standards of integrity, honor and courtesy within the legal profession, and fostering positive relations among the community, lawyers and the judiciary. This page is designed to serve those goals and offers information or access to many of the programs offered by the Victoria County Bar Association which are in place to serve our community and our membership. Those programs include continuing legal education for legal professionals and a variety of activities and programs available throughout the year.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

On May 7 at 12:00 PM, TYLA is partnering with the Texas Lawyers’ Assistance Program (TLAP) for a virtual wellness event focused on spotting and responding to attorneys in crisis.

The legal profession comes with unique pressures, and recognizing when a colleague may be struggling can make all the difference. This session will provide practical guidance on identifying warning signs, approaching difficult conversations, and connecting attorneys with the support they need.

Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner, law student, or young lawyer, this is a valuable opportunity to strengthen our profession’s commitment to well-being and support. We hope you'll join us!
