DeTar’s leadership team recently kicked off the season of giving by donating 600 pairs of socks to support our Socktober drive benefiting Mid-Coast Family Services! 💚

At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, Mayor Duane Crocker proclaimed the month of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month as Mid-Coast Family Services joined us in honoring survivors, remembering those we’ve lost to domestic violence, and reminding victims that they are not alone. 💜
“Oftentimes, for the people we work with, home is a dangerous place and a scary place,” said Mid-Coast CEO Brett Jones. “We want those victims to know that Mid-Coast Family Services is here, we’re available, and we have shelter.”

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) 💜

This month, Mid-Coast Family Services stands with survivors, raises awareness, and encourages our community to come together to help end domestic violence.

Domestic violence can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstance. No one should have to face it alone.

At Mid-Coast Family Services, we are here to provide support, resources, advocacy, and hope to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
