Family Connects provides free nurse home visits for families with newborns in Victoria County. A nurse can spend time with your family, answer questions, listen to your concerns, provide information about your baby's health and development, and connect you with community resources.

Learning doesn't only happen during structured activities or at school.

Your child is learning while they play, explore, ask questions, try something new, and even try something again after it doesn't work the first time.

Through Parents as Teachers Victoria County, families receive support from a trained parent educator who can share information about child development, offer activities that fit into everyday life, and celebrate the milestones along the way.

Last week our Texas Home Visiting team recently completed four days of Infant Massage Educator Training!

We learned about the history of the International Association of Infant Massage IAIM , the benefits of infant massage, and practical skills we can share with families.

A special thank-you to our instructor, Laurie Shamma, for sharing her knowledge and guiding us through this meaningful training!

As children grow, their car seat needs can change, too. A quick check can make sure the seat is still appropriate for your child and that everything is being used correctly.
