✉️💲If you receive a Regional Travel Survey in the mail, complete it and receive up to $10 per household member. Your input will help shape better roads, transit, sidewalks and bike lanes in the DMV for the next 20 years.

County is holding a design public hearing for the Cascades Parkway – Victoria Station Drive/Loudoun Park Lane to Nokes Boulevard/Potomac View Road project. This hearing will be held Monday, October 26, 2026, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., at Park View High School in Sterling. 🛣️ We are removing bottlenecks and reducing congestion on Route 29 in Fairfax County!

🚗 $15 million of NVTA Local Distribution Funds were used to help expand a 1.5-mile stretch from four to six lanes, benefiting 29,000 drivers per day.

🔷 NVTA CEO Monica Backmon joined Authority members Jeff McKay, Chairman, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors; Pat Herrity, Supervisor, Fairfax County; and Bill Cuttler, District Engineer, VDOT, to cut the ribbon and officially celebrate the project's opening. Thank you to all our project partners who helped get this expansion across the finish line!
