Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization Our goal is to provide a safe, multimodal, innovative, and resilient transportation system for all.

The SCTPO continually monitors the conditions of Brevard’s transportation system, which includes roads, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, airports, seaports, spaceports, rails, and public transit. We work with our citizens, local governments, transportation agencies, and elected officials, to help shape our future system and address the transportation needs of Brevard County.

Our team at the SCTPO enjoyed participating in the IGo Now Roadside Towing and Recovery's 3rd Annual Slow Down Move Over Brevard event this past Saturday! 🚛✨

We were on hand distributing safety materials and giveaways, sharing important roadside safety tips with attendees. From tow trucks and military displays to music, food, raffles, and the annual lock-out competition, it was a fantastic day together. 🚦

Most of all, we were proud to stand alongside our local partners to support Florida’s Slow Down, Move Over Law and help raise support for the International Towing & Recovery Museum Survivor Fund. 💙

The SCTPO is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Brevard County Sheriff's Office, Florida (Official) Homicide Agent Kevin Morris, who died in the line of duty following a wrong-way crash on I-95.

​As an organization dedicated to safety on our transportation network, this loss hits especially close to home. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Agent Morris’s family, friends, the entire BCSO community, and our law enforcement partners during this devastating time. 🕯

Walking and rolling with the Palm Bay Elementary Lil Pirates! 👟 🚲

We had an absolute blast celebrating 👟🚲 2026 Walk & Roll to School Day 👟🚲 with these amazing students last Friday! They brought the BEST community spirit and showed up big time.
