🔥 Good news!

The fire ban has officially been lifted.

Please continue to use caution with all outdoor burning and stay fire safe! 🚒🌲

Today, we remember. 🇺🇸

On September 11, 2001, 2,977 lives were lost, including 343 members of the FDNY who answered the call and never returned home.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor those who were lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless lives forever changed by that day.

From all of us at the Villa Grove/Bonanza Volunteer Fire Department, we will never forget.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the community member who reported seeing smoke. Because of your quick action, we were able to locate a lightning strike fire and extinguish it before it had the chance to spread.

As a reminder, Stage 2 Fire Restrictions remain in effect, and conditions are still very dry. If you see smoke or signs of a fire, please don’t hesitate to call 911. Your awareness and willingness to report concerns help keep our community safe.

Thank you for continuing to look out for one another.
