Just an FYI if you don't want to make firestarters at our Nov craft, you can make these simmer pot bags. They make great gifts. You will still need to sign up for either Nov 5 at 10am or Nov 11 at 6pm. There is a $5 donation request for those who live outside of our library district.

We had so much fun today at story time!
Thank you to Villa Grove Fire & Rescue!!
They walked to the park, got to see the fire truck, read a story, then we walked back to the library and made our own fire trucks!!

Just an FYI if you don't want to make firestarters at our Nov. craft, you can make these cute simmer pot bags. They make great gifts to share. But you will still need to sign up for the Nov Craft so we have enough supplies for all.

November's book club selection is The Echo of Old Books by Barbara Davis. It doesn't appear to be available in either Cloud Library or Libby. Regular print is the only option available in the system. Feel free to request a copy in the comments, regardless if you will be attending book club. The next meeting is November 17th at 6:30 p.m. -- the third Tuesday of the month!

It's a #1 bestseller on Amazon with a 4.6 rating (77.7K reviews) and a 4.2 rating on Goodreads. (See the book's description in the comments.)
