Just a few tools and a whole lot of knowledge. 🔧💧

Our Center-Based Head Start classrooms explore all kinds of studies throughout the year, from jobs to breadmaking and everything in between! One way we bring these topics to life is by inviting community members to volunteer and share their knowledge and experiences with our little learners.

We recently welcomed Vincennes City Engineer, John Sprague, to a few of our Vincennes classrooms. From learning about different types of pipes to seeing how they’re installed during construction, John helped students connect what they’re learning to the world around them. He even used a special tool to show them where the water pipes run to their classroom sinks!

A big THANK YOU to John for spending some time sharing with our students! We love seeing our community come together to make learning fun, hands-on, and meaningful. ❤️

Interested in sharing your talents with a Head Start classroom? Visit pacecaa.org/volunteer to join our volunteer list, or contact Courtney Welage at [email protected].

We’re extremely honored to have been selected as MSI Waste’s October Non-Profit Partner during their Dumpster Days event! 🫶

Dumpster Days is about more than cleaning up...it’s about giving back.

During each Dumpster Days event, MSI Waste will collect donations for a different local nonprofit, giving our neighbors another way to support organizations doing good in our community.

For October, we're proud to partner with Pace Community Action Agency.

As you clean out, consider bringing along a donation and helping us make an even bigger impact beyond the dumpster.
