It was a busy weekend for KCYD!
We would like to thank everyone who came to our Craft and Snacks with Mary Allen, as well as Saturday’s rally. You all made both events a success.
On Friday, we enjoyed crafting zines with the 8th District’s next congresswoman, Mary Allen. Campaign season is an incredibly busy time, and we are grateful to Mary for spending an evening with us. On that topic, has anyone seen Mark Messmer recently?
Saturday was a wonderful opportunity to hear from local candidates and community members about the issues facing our county and our nation, and get energized to vote for candidates who will bring our shared values into their respective offices.
We’d also like to extend another thank you to everyone who helped organize these events, including the Wabash Valley Progressives. These events don’t come together without a lot of planning and elbow grease, and we are grateful to everyone who assisted in bringing it to life.
