🎃🍁 Learning Was PUMPKIN Everything in First Grade! 🍁🎃

Ms. Kailyn’s first graders had a PUMPKIN-TASTIC time turning their classroom into a pumpkin patch full of learning, laughter, and hands-on fun! 🧡🐝

These little Hornets were busy rotating through pumpkin-themed learning stations that made reading, writing, science, and critical thinking come to life!

🎃 Pumpkin Word Building: Building th digraph words using magnetic letters!

🎃 Sight Word Pumpkins: Picking pumpkins, reading sight words, and practicing writing them!

🎃 Digraph Word Sort: Sorting words based on their digraph sounds!

🎃 Pumpkin Word Mapping: Reading words and mapping sounds using Elkonin boxes!

🎃 Pumpkin Life Cycle: Sequencing and reviewing how pumpkins grow!

🎃 Puking Pumpkin Experiment: Bringing science to life with a fun, hands-on experiment! 🧪

And the fun didn’t stop there! Students even got to visit the pumpkin patch, pick their very own pumpkins, and paint and decorate them! 🎨🎃

💚 This is what Vibrant Learning and our Portrait of a Learner are all about! Students were actively engaged, learning through exploration, making real-world connections, and having FUN while strengthening important academic skills!

🎃🍂 Pumpkin Patch Fun at Viper Elementary! 🐝💚🖤

Our K–2 students got to experience the magic of a pumpkin patch right in the comfort of their own school! 🎃✨

Each student had the opportunity to pick their very own pumpkin, paint and decorate it, enjoy special snacks, listen to music, create fun crafts, and make wonderful memories playing with their friends! 🧡🍁

Days like today remind us that learning goes far beyond the classroom! It’s about creating memories, building friendships, and making school a place our students LOVE to be! 💚

📚 Remember, when you miss school, you miss out! These are the moments our kiddos will remember for years to come!
