VBEA PACE - Virginia Beach Education Association PACE Issue driven. Party blind. We are the Virginia Beach Education Association Political Action Committee of Educators. VBEA PACE supports friends of education.

As education professionals, it's important to understand the impact decisions made by elected officials have on our schools, our classrooms, and our families. That's why the education association provides an opportunity for members to organize and have a voice in local, statewide, and national elections through our associated political action committees. While we encourage members to contribute, volunteer for, and otherwise participate in efforts to elect supporters of public education and the fair treatment of education professionals, it's important to note that no association dues dollars are used to support political candidates. It is also important to remember that political action committees associated with the education association are non-partisan. The Virginia Beach Education Association Political Action Committee of Educators (VBEA PACE) focuses on supporting public education-friendly candidates for the Virginia Beach City Council, Virginia Beach School Board, or representing Virginia Beach in the Virginia General Assembly. Any member of the Virginia Beach Education Association who contributes to VBEA PACE has the privilege of participating in the process of endorsing candidates.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to our events this weekend!
Our meet & greet was such a wonderful, lowkey opportunity to connect with these candidates. We hope you all felt the same!
And thanks to everyone who was able to pivot with us on Sunday with the weather- door knocking turned into a great texting-party with Natalie Bray for School Board!

The election is close, but our work is still not over! If you'd like to volunteer for canvassing or poll greeting, fill out our volunteer form!

It's humbling and an honor to be endorsed for a seat on the Virginia Beach School Board in District 2 by the very teachers and staff that we will be responsible for looking out for, when elected.

As a former teacher, when important issues affecting our teachers, staff and students come up, you can count me to draw on my 30+ years of service at all levels of public schools to know (1) what questions to ask, (2) who to ask, and (3) who to listen to (the experts doing the work) while also drawing on my own experience and understanding of the entire ecosystem of public schools (students, parents, families, local community organization, teachers, and staff). You all matter -- and only when we act as partners supporting each other will Virginia Beach City Public Schools reach its highest potential.

If you haven't voted yet, I'd be honored to earn your vote.

EARLY VOTING is open now open Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm at 500 Studio Drive.

October is a very busy month on the campaign trail leading up to November 3. As you make your plan to vote early this week, I encourage you to review the previously posted voter guides, which outline the clear differences between my opponent and me. I remain committed to finishing the work you entrusted me to begin two years ago in a special election, and I am grateful for your continued engagement in this important election.
