Congratulations to Ashton, our Fayetteville September Employee of the Month!
Ashton serves as a Field Training Officer (FTO) and EMT-B and will celebrate his second anniversary with Reliance next month. He says his main focus each day is caring for patients and helping them feel as comfortable and at ease as possible while receiving the care they need.
His interest in healthcare began with his childhood pediatrician, who showed him that dedicating your life to helping others was a worthy endeavor. Today, that perspective continues to motivate Ashton: “Each and every patient deserves the best care we can provide.”
For those starting their careers in EMS, Ashton's advice is the importance of recognizing where you can improve and being willing to ask questions. “No one is perfect at everything; there is always room to grow.” During his time at Reliance, he says he has grown into a more professional caregiver.
And a fun fact about Ashton? In middle school, he memorized 50 digits of pi for a competition with his friends!
