Our October meeting was a major success!🎃

We had students choose their candidates to run for school board, President, and even congress! As you can tell, we really love the American flag, almost every student had one by the end of the meeting 😂

We had a great time at the second annual Spotsylvania County Fair! 🇺🇸

Over the three days, we had the opportunity to speak with so many community members, candidates for upcoming elections, and people interested in learning more about what we do. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, took the time to chat with us, and showed their support!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated as well! Your generosity truly means a lot to us. We were able to raise nearly $100 over the three days, and those funds will go toward purchasing pumpkins for our meeting this Friday! 🎃

Thank you for making this such a great experience. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next event!

🎃 PUMPKINS NEEDED! 🎃

Club America is looking for mini to medium sized pumpkins for an upcoming hands on meeting activity!

We’re teaching students about elections, campaigning, political parties, and the voting process through a fun pumpkin challenge. 🗳️🇺🇸

Students will work in groups of 2–3 and paint their presidential candidate directly onto a pumpkin. Each group will create their candidate’s name, political party, beliefs, policies, and campaign platform, then present their candidate to the group.

After all the candidates have been presented, students will participate in a mock election and vote for the candidate they think should win! The winning team will receive a prize.

We would love to support local businesses and farms, but we have limited funds and need enough pumpkins for everyone who wants to participate.

If you are a local business, farm, pumpkin patch, or individual who would be willing to donate pumpkins, offer them at a discounted price, or work something out with us in exchange, please reach out!

If you know of any local places selling mini to medium pumpkins for a good price, please let us know in the comments or send us a message!

We had an AMAZING meeting today with 50+ students!! 🎉

At today’s meeting, we played a game where students had to guess who was on their sticky note by asking yes or no questions. On top of that, we had Chick-fil-A!

We are SO, SO thankful to everyone who came out and made today’s meeting such a great time! We’ll see y’all soon!

What an awesome day of tabling at Club Rush!! 🇺🇸❤️

We welcomed 75 NEW MEMBERS to our chapter!! We’re so excited to see what this year has in store!

We even got the chance to have a civil conversation with Safe Space. We love seeing students come together and have respectful conversations, even when we don’t always agree!

And yes… we promise our next chapter meeting WILL have Chick-fil-A. You guys have our word! 😂❤️
