🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE | OCTOBER 21, 2026 🚧

Please be advised that a portion of Hoover Road, between Highway 169 and West Chestnut Street, will be closed to through traffic on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, due to construction.

Access to local businesses will be maintained, but through traffic will be redirected. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and follow posted traffic signs.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation. Please use caution and drive carefully when traveling near the construction area.

Thank you for helping keep the construction crews and motorists safe!

🚧 DOWNTOWN ROAD CLOSURE | SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 🚧

Chestnut Street in Downtown Virginia will be CLOSED to vehicle traffic and parking beginning at 9:00 AM for the Revive Virginia Food Truck Festival 2026!

⏰ 9:00 AM | Chestnut Street closes, no parking
🚚 12:00 PM | Food Truck Festival begins
🚗 6:30 PM | Estimated street reopening

Detours and parking areas will be clearly marked.
Please follow posted signs and watch for heavy pedestrian traffic throughout downtown.

🛺 FREE golf cart shuttles will also be available along Chestnut Street!
