The Cass County, Illinois Animal Control has some incredible dogs looking for loving forever homes. Each one has their own unique personality, but they all have one thing in common—they’re ready to be someone’s loyal companion.
🐶 Nike
🐾 Male | Blue Speckled Heeler | 1½ Years Old
Nike is a shy guy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll have a best friend for life. He’s house-trained, gets along well with other dogs, and once he’s comfortable, his playful and loving personality shines through. If you’re willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace, he’ll reward you with endless loyalty.
🐶 Asher
🐾 Male | Brindle Heeler Mix | 5–8 Months Old
Adventure is Asher’s middle name! This energetic young pup loves people, enjoys other dogs, and is always ready for fun. He’s currently learning basic obedience like sit, come, and off, and he’s incredibly eager to learn. With a little continued training and plenty of playtime, Asher will make an amazing family dog.
🐶 Mystic
🐾 Female | Brown & White Mixed Breed
Mystic is as sweet as she is beautiful. She has an amazing personality, loves people, gets along well with other dogs, and would fit right into either an active household or a quieter home. She’s food-motivated, eager to please, and ready to find the family she’s been waiting for.
🐶 Willow
🐾 Female | 4–6 Months Old
Willow is a gentle, shy puppy looking for a patient family willing to help her build confidence. With love, kindness, and a soft place to land, this sweet girl is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.
🐶 Mocha
🐾 7-Year-Old Spayed Female
Don’t let her age fool you—Mocha still has plenty of love to give! She’s house-trained, gets along with dogs, cats, and people, and has a sweet, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion, Mocha may be the perfect match.
