🇺🇸 Today’s Meeting: Welcoming Central Valley Vietnam Veterans! 🇺🇸

Today, we were honored to welcome the Central Valley Vietnam Veterans (CVVV) to our meeting!

We are proud to share such a great partnership with this incredible organization. CVVV gives 100% of its proceeds back to the community to support veteran families and children, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served and their loved ones. ❤️🤍💙

They have been wonderful partners in helping us with our fundraising events, most notably our annual Fireworks Booth! 🎆 Their support and dedication help make our community efforts possible.

We are grateful for this partnership and for the opportunity to work together to support our veterans, their families, and our community.

Thank you, Central Valley Vietnam Veterans, for all you do! 🇺🇸

✨ A Night of Leadership, Service & Recognition! ✨

Monday night was a special evening for West Visalia Kiwanis as we celebrated the official installation of our former president, Martin Abbiss, as Lieutenant Governor for Division 18! 🎉

Martin was joined by his eldest daughter, Krista Cervantes, her husband, Jose Cervantes, and their children, Caylob and Kylie, who were there to celebrate this special milestone with him. ❤️

Division 18 currently represents 12 Kiwanis clubs from Porterville to Corcoran, and Martin looks forward to encouraging and supporting these clubs as they continue their commitment to serving the youth of the communities they represent.

West Visalia Kiwanis was also honored during Monday night’s division meeting as our former president, Patrick Salazar, was presented with the very special William A. Dunlap Award. 🏆

Patrick has dedicated more than 25 years to serving his community through Kiwanis. Throughout the years, he has served as a Youth Services Committee Chair, board member, member of the Student Loan Foundation, and club president.

There’s a reason so many community members affectionately call him “Mr. Kiwanis.” His dedication, leadership, and commitment to service have made a lasting impact on our community and the young people we serve.

Congratulations, Martin and Patrick!
We are proud to celebrate both of you and the many ways you continue to make a difference through service. 💙💛

🤟💙 Happy National Sign Language Day! 💙🤟

Today, we celebrate the beauty and importance of sign language and recognize the many ways communication brings people together. 🤝✨

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community, promote inclusion, and remember that everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and included. 💙

🤟 A little effort to learn, listen, and understand can make a big difference!
